Single-Origin Pragati Turmeric
Electric and earthy, Diaspora's Pragati turmeric is an organic and biodynamic heirloom variety of the quintessentially Indian root spice. Highlighting the seasonality of spice farming, each batch is grown in small quantities and harvested at peak potency and freshness.
Fully traceable, this ground turmeric is regeneratively grown by the Kasaraneni family amidst marigolds, black rice, and bananas on their fourth generation family farm in Andhra Pradesh.
A necessity for traditional drinks and dishes such as Ayurvedic haldi doodh, or 'golden milk' and murgh kari, this neon ginger relative also makes an exciting addition to lemonades, salad dressings, and pickles.
Committed to transparency, each jar comes labeled with its harvest date, mill date, and curcumin content.
