Cropped Merino Wool Sweater in Quebracho Brown
Tastefully cropped with dropped shoulders and subtly ballooned sleeves, this hand-knit ultrasoft Merino sweater is robustly constructed from wool so soft it's just as cozy to wear on its own with nothing underneath as it is as part of a full-on layered Winter ensemble.
Featuring contrasting patterns on the torso and sleeves, Certified Wildlife Friendly™ Merino sheep's wool naturally dyed with regionally traditional and locally sourced Argentine quebracho for a rich, colorfast brown.
Also available in Undyed Cream.
Naturally self-cleaning, wool repels water and dirt, and its keratin content breaks down sweat that may accumulate on the surface of the fiber during wear, making woolen items extremely easy to care for and lighter colors less susceptible to staining than other light colored fibers. Allow woolens to air out for one full day after each wear for best results.
Based in both Buenos Aires and the Patagonian region of Argentina, Maydi produces high-quality artisan knitwear and other goods from natural animal fibers such as organic and Certified Wildlife Friendly® Merino wool, alpaca fiber, mohair, as well as myriad plant fibers. In addition to fiber purity, designer Maria Abdala-Zolezzi has committed the brand to using exclusively regionally traditional natural dye sources.
Materials: Merino wool (naturally dyed with quebracho heartwood), polyamide brand and care tags (easily removable for fabric recycling).
Raised and made in Argentina.
