The bifold structure originates from the bag which Pangcah people traditionally used for carrying betel nuts and pipe when staying outside overnight.

Each hide has unique characteristics and can include variations in color, wrinkles, and markings. We consider these recordings part of what make natural leather special.

Kamaro'an is a collective of Indigenous Taiwanese craftspeople creating timeless pieces inspired by and utilizing traditional Pangcah practices.

Materials: Undyed vegetable tanned leather, waxed linen thread, stainless steel hardware.

Designed and handcrafted in Hualien, Taiwan of Italian leather.
