Robust and intensely aromatic, this heirloom sage is grown and handpicked on a small organic farm in Crete. Sage is known for its ability to bring balance to meat dishes, and contribute a cutting quality to fats like butter and olive oil when infused.

Add to roast turkey, grind along with coarse salt and black pepper to sprinkle over anchovy bruschetta, or infuse in hot water on its own to make a classic winter tisane.

Other fair trade herbs and spices from Daphnis & Chloe: Bay Leaves, Boukovo Smoked Chili Flakes, Fennel Seeds, Marjoram, Oregano, Rosemary, Wild Thyme.

Daphnis & Chloe is an Athens-based culinary herb and spice company dedicated to sourcing Mediterranean ingredients of the finest quality from small organic family farms.

Grown in Crete and packed in Athens.

Each jar contains 0.5 oz.

Ingredients

• Organic sage (Salvia fruticosa)
