Georgia O'Keeffe: The Poetry of Things
To know Georgia O'Keeffe's work is to know what it means to be truly present – with an object, in a space, in a landscape.
This exhibition catalog is an exploration of her still life work in both painting and photography through the lens of Elizabeth Hutton Turner and Marjorie Balge-Crozier's respective essays, focused primarily on the interesting confluence of Eastern and Western philosophies so clearly present in her work and her very special relationship with nature and the simple pleasures life has to offer.
The book also features an illustrated chronology of the artist's life, including imagery from her studios and Ghost Ranch home.
Soft cover with both black and white and color photographs and illustrations throughout.
Condition: New, unused.
