Organic Canvas Pants in Iron Black
With a modern straight-leg design, Industry of All Nations' canvas pants are tougher than your average jeans and constructed with durability in mind. Dense and sturdy, the canvas starts out stiffer, breaking in and molding to your physique with time similarly to raw denim, with beautiful fades to match. Perfect for everyday wear, wilderness exploration, or manual labor, these pants are an indispensable resource to anyone's closet.
Embodying the 'think locally, act globally' mentality, Industry of All Nations is a project-based clothing company that partners with producers all over the world to produce sustainable apparel and accessories. The Clean Clothes Project is one such partnership. Working directly with organic cotton farmers, traditional natural dyers, and textile artisans, Industry creates affordable, high-quality basics from exclusively undyed and naturally dyed organic cotton.
Materials: Organic cotton canvas (pre-treated with earth salts and sunlight, and naturally dyed with fermented jaggery and iron), stainless steel button & zipper, polycore* or cotton thread, organic cotton tags.

*We work hard to ensure that all clothing at Housework is stitched with natural fibers to ensure complete product biodegradability. Unfortunately, we discovered that some of these pants were stitched with polyester-core cotton thread. We are selling these at our wholesale price to ensure that we don't profit from products that don't meet our strict standards.
Note: This item is naturally dyed. With some naturally dyed items, you may detect the mild scent of herbs, minerals, or fermentation used in the dyeing process, and/or experience color crocking and rub-off when new. Learn more about caring for naturally dyed clothing on our fabric care page.
