Washi Dustpan in Kakishibu Red
This Edo-style handmade washi dustpan is the epitome of form following function. Incredibly thin and lightweight, yet sturdy – it makes an otherwise mundane task deeply pleasurable. Being made entirely from natural materials, it never builds up static charge as plastic dustpans do, allowing you to easily sweep dust, dirt, and hair in and out without resistance.
Features a twine attachment for hanging display and easy accessibility.
Though designed to last, all good things must come to an end. When your dustpan has finally reached its functional limits, please compost.
Also available in Benigara Black.
Pair with a Windmill Palm Broom to help yourself look forward to sweeping daily.
Materials: Washi, bamboo frame, kakishibu (persimmon [Diospyros] tannin) sealant, jute (Corchorus) twine.
Designed and made in Tokyo, Japan.
