Made entirely free of plastic components, and with a replaceable head and hook for hanging to dry, all parts can either be easily recycled or composted when they're no longer in usable shape, simplifying your dishwashing routine and minimizing environmental impact.
Ixtle* bristles are medium firm and safe to use on almost all surfaces. Also available in horse hair, which is softer.
Especially well suited for our preferred method of cast iron care: after cooking, use a dry brush to remove any food that sticks, pour out excess fat, quickly rinse with hot water and wipe dry using a clean rag - easy! Re-oil and heat young cast iron after cleaning to build up a stronger seasoning.
