Tawashi Scrub Brush

Modeled after the shape of a turtle, tawashi brushes are a dishwashing staple in traditional Japanese homes. Made of firm but flexible palm fibers that are soft to the touch, tawashi are waterproof and biodegradable, and can be used on nearly any dish or pan.

The shuro fiber these tawashi are made from is organically grown in Japan, making it an especially limited and valuable resource.

Features a twine attachment of the same palm fiber for hanging dry.

Materials: Organic windmill palm (Trachycarpus fortunei), stainless steel wire, organic windmill palm twine.

Designed, grown, and made in Kishu, Japan.

Each tawashi measures ~3"x4"x1.75".
