Brass Bottle Opener
Playful and obscure, this half-moon shaped brass bottle opener hides in plain sight posing as an art piece or paperweight. Designed by Taku Shinomoto and made in Takaoka, Japan (an area renowned for its metallurgy since the 1600s) using traditional brass making techniques, and inspired by the aesthetics of the Edo period.
Each piece is unique, with natural variations in shade and texture.
Designed in Los Angeles and made in Japan.
