Shuro Palm Trivet
Simple and unassuming, these traditionally crafted shuro palm trivets are designed to protect your table while simultaneously presenting dishes with understated elegance. With a satisfying organic texture and light weight, they are a pleasure to use.
Naturally heat resistant, you can pair these trivets with donabes, hot pots, or any other cooking vessel that sits suspended within these natural fiber halos. Each has a small loop of palm fiber attached for hanging.
Trivets should not be washed.
Simple hand-knit construction makes for an entirely natural and biodegradable product.

Materials: Shuro palm fiber (Trachycarpus fortunei), luan plywood core (Shorea).
Designed and made in Japan.
Small measures 5.5" outer diameter and comfortably holds an 8 oz. Chemex or other similarly sized round-bottomed vessel.
Medium measures 7" outer diameter and comfortably holds a small donabe.
Large measures 8.5" outer diameter and comfortably holds a medium or large donabe.
