Digging Knife in Natural California Bay Laurel Wood
Digging Knife in Natural California Bay Laurel Wood
A hand-carved wooden analog to the traditional Japanese hori-hori, these digging knives are endlessly useful around the garden – use them to dig, transplant, saw, cut, and even measure soil depth for planting bulbs.
Made using naturally abundant local California bay laurel wood and finished with a natural blend of beeswax and coconut oil, so that it's equally safe for you and your garden. 100% biodegradable and compostable.
Woodhouse Built is a small Northern California-based woodworking shop dedicated to using woods coming exclusively from sustainable sources such as locally harvested windfall and reclaimed wood from old fences, barns, and other structures.
Designed and made by hand in Northern California.
Note: Due to the nature of handmade items, color and shape may vary.
