Simple and unassuming, these traditional Japanese rush trivets are designed to protect your table while simultaneously presenting dishes with understated elegance. With a satisfying organic texture and light weight, they are a pleasure to use.
Pair with donabes, hot pots, or any other vessel that sits suspended within these natural fiber halos. Each has a small loop of rush attached for hanging.
Because of the nature of rush, we do not recommend putting excessively hot dishes on the trivets, such as cast iron straight from the broiler. Rush should not be washed.
Simple rush construction makes for an entirely natural and biodegradable product.
Materials: Rush (Juncus).
Designed and made in Japan.
